I think we will have to open a Jester Orphanage soon. During the Jester raffle on Sunday, March 7th at 11:00 AM VZT, we had a visit by our honorable friend, Muse Euterpe!

We thought she was just visiting and saying hello but that wasn't the case. She came to see me and find out if I lost something.

 Here is how it went:

The Arrival of Jester Paige Turner

(Muse Euterpe drags Paige Turner into locale….)

 

Muse  - “Thorny!  … have you been missing something?”

Thorny – “Hmm… (checking pockets) … I don’t think so”

Muse – “Are you SUuuuuuuRE? .. I think I found something that belongs to YOU!”

Thorny – “ (counting Jesters)… one, two, three…  I’m sure I’m not missing anything, Muse Euterpe”

Muse – “Well, let me introduce you to a little bit of trouble!”  

Jester Paige Turner – “I’m not TROUBLE!” 

Muse – “I’ll let Miss Thorny decide that for herself!”

Jester Paige Turner – “Oh Miss Thorny Ma’am, I know you wanted a boy, but if you let me stay… by the way, have you seen Gilbert lately?”

Muse – “Ohhhh there she goes again … thinking she’s Ann of Green Gables!  ..  such a drama queen!”

Thorny – “I’m not sure I understand… “

Muse  -  “Well, it seems we were expecting a shipment of books and other assorted items .  We started to wonder why the box hadn’t yet arrived at the Muse Quarters, and one of my sisters decided to see if it was left somewhere else by mistake. 

Thorny – “Let me guess…. she found a Paige instead of the books! (hahaha)“

Jester Paige Turner – “You can call me Alice…    Miss Thorny… do you have any tea?”

Thorny – “Let’s not get off subject here… “

Muse – “Thorny, she’s yours now!  She should fit in well with your little hooligans … um … group.   Paige loves books – so much that she likes to pretend she’s one of the characters!  

Jester Paige Turner – “Books are WONDERFUL!  Lots of adventures Miss Thorny!  Have you ever read the story of Robin Hood? “

Thorny – “Yes, I….”

Jester Paige Turner – “How do you think you’d look in a pair of green tights??!!”

Thorny – “I’m NOT wearing GREEN TIGHTS!”

Jester Paige Turner – “Ok, have you read The Emperor’s New Clothes??”

Thorny – “Oh My Word!”

Muse – “Do you see what I mean?”  (big sigh)  “My sisters and I have a LOT of patience and fortitude but Paige has been a handful!”  Mother almost fainted when Paige wanted to pin a fuzzy white tail on her so she looked more like Peter Rabbit!”

Thorny – “Ok, ok…. I can see where this is going!”

Jester Paige Turner – “I actually wanted her to wear a PINK fuzzy tail!”

Thorny – “PAIGE!”

Jester Paige Turner – “Yes, Miss Thorny?”

Thorny – “I want to introduce you to all of our friends here…. but, please try to behave just a little bit?”

Jester Paige Turner – (thinking) “hmm…. lots of people here… like a scene from Gone with the Windblown”

Muse – “Have fun all!”

 And that's how Jester Paige Turner joined our Jester Family!
