Potion Making Lessons with the Frogsplat Sisters

Dear Students: Due to the bizarre magical happenings which occurred in the months of June and July, we have had to re-hide all of our Potion Ingredients for you to find. We will be happy to extend this month's deadline as needed for any of you who are having a hard time getting caught up - just let us know!
In addition, since all of us are a little bit behind now on our lessons, we will hold off until September before beginning to redeem Potion Bottles for the new color Cauldron. This will give everyone enough time to collect enough bottles.
We hope this hasn't been too inconvenient for you and that you are still able to remember all the magic you have learned!

June/July 2010 Potion Quest

What a beautiful Sunny Summer Day!
A Picnic is what we sould plan,
A beautiful spot where the flowers smell sweet.
Oh but then the bugs will ruin the day.
I know a potion that will keep them at bay.
so that we may go out an enjoy our day.
We need Sliced Cucumbers for the Bees,
They do not like the taste or smell.
It also keeps swelling down if you do get Stung.
We need some Lemon Grass for the Mosquitoes; they do not like the smell.
If they do give you an itchy bite, put a slice of cucumber on it right away.
We need some hot peppers for the ants.
They do not like the smell or taste.
A Dried Jalpeno peper should do the job!
We need citrus fruit to keep the spiders at bay.
They do not like the smell and it keeps them from hanging up their webs.
Citrus trees do not grow in our Kingdom,
but perhaps a nice little Lime Tree can be kept in a pot!
Finally, we need a Soft Breeze to keep the flies away.
They cannot fly in a breeze,
and it makes it hard for the mosquitoes and bees to find us, too!
Bring all of these ingredients to us
and we will teach you how to make them into a potion
which you can carry with you to all of yoru picnics this Summer
to keep them all carefree and comfortable!
How to Participate in Potion Making Lessons:
Each month, the Sisters will reveal a list of ingredients that they will need to produce a potion.
To aid you in collecting the potion components, please visit the Magic Den Workroom in the SK Castle and obtain this month's special Frogsplat Fetching Sack. Use this sack to collect the ingredients below:
You will need to search out the required ingredients all over the Second Kingdom and Mysterious Forest. As you find each ingredient, place it inside the Fetching Sack. You will have an entire month to complete this task, so we all have the opportunity and no one needs to rush.
When you have found all of the required ingredients, please bring them to the Sisters in the Magic Den, via the stairs in the Magic Den Workroom. They will call you down individually and ask you to present your sack of ingredients for inspection. If you have collected all of the correct items, the Sisters will give you a bottle of the completed potion, which you may keep.
The Frogsplat Sisters will be available to inspect your sacks during the last week of the month, at the following times:

Save Your Bottles!
After you have collected 4 different bottles of potions, you may present them to the Sisters and they will give you a special Cauldron Chest as a reward to show that you have become proficient in potion making!
- The color of the Cauldron will change every 4 months. The next Cauldron Chest will be available in September, 2010.
- The 4 Potion Bottles that you collect to earn a Cauldron Chest must begin at least with Frogsplat Potion #5. Older potions are no longer eligible - and by the way, please do not drink them, either: they have probably expired by now and there's no telling what they might turn you into.
- You will be allowed to keep the potion bottles after you have earned your Cauldron Chest.
- The Sisters will be keeping track of who earned which potion bottles, and will only be awarding Cauldrons to the avatars who came to them to present their ingredient sacks. This means that you will not be able to use any bottles that someone else earned, so please be sure to do the quests yourself. This is for your own safety! If you have not studied potion making carefully by doing the Potion Quests, you will not have learned the skill to use the Cauldrons properly, and could hurt yourself. Magic can be dangerous, and must not be toyed with lightly!
- Important!: If you have already collected some bottles and you plan to change your Avatar name, please be sure to let the Sisters know so that they can continue keeping track of the bottles you have collected so far, so that you don't lose all the hard work you've done!
- Once the Cauldron color has changed, the old color will no longer be available.
- The four bottles that you redeemed to gain a Cauldron Chest will no longer be eligible toward future Chests, and you will need to collect another four bottles for the next one!
- Alts are welcome to participate in collecting potion ingredients, bottles and earning Cauldron Chests.
